Scene-based collectionsWhat is this?
The Foley Engine is a centralized, searchable sound-effects library. Every sound is broken down into its component layers — body, tail, texture, ambience, room — so you can see exactly how professional effects are built from real-world recordings.
All sources are CC0 or public domain. No licensing fees. No attribution required. Use them in film, games, podcasts, music — anything.
Units are scene-based collections: pre-assembled kits of sounds that work together for a specific scenario. A chase sequence. A thunderstorm. A warehouse at night.
